Bowls is a fantastic social sport played by EVERYONE. That includes:

  • Gents
  • Ladies
  • Juniors

The Scottish Bowling Association (SBA) have no age limit when a youngster can start bowling, the only criteria is that the boy or girl can comfortably hold and deliver the bowl.

The normal age to start bowling is 10 years old.

Clubs welcome new members of any age, so if you fancy trying bowling out contact one of the bowling clubs in your area. Click here for links to those clubs with websites.

Happy bunch of young winners

Bowls really is the sport for everyone as clubs have members
